From high-energy competition weekends to workshops led by accomplished instructors and choreographers, there are plenty of opportunities for dancers to take the stage, develop their skills and connect with the dance community.

All STARZ 2MOVE CHALLENGE
October 9–11, 2026
The All STARZ 2MOVE CHALLENGE brings three days of dance to Niagara Falls from October 9–11.
The event takes a different approach to traditional dance competition. Dancers compete in head-to-head challenges across multiple levels and age divisions, with judges choosing their favourite performance from each duel rather than assigning traditional scores. Dancers who participated in qualifying 2MOVE Challenge events dating back to 2022 have the opportunity to qualify for the Niagara Falls All STARZ event.
It promises to be an energetic weekend of performances, encouragement and competition as dancers come together in Niagara Falls for the season-ending challenge.

Dance Canada Convention
October 18, 2026
The focus turns from competition to training when the Dance Canada Convention arrives in Niagara Falls on October 18.
Dancers can spend the day learning from an experienced teaching faculty through classes covering styles including jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz funk and Broadway. Junior and senior convention passes include morning warm-ups, five classes, a scholarship class and the event’s Showcase and Awards Presentation.
It’s an opportunity for dancers to step outside their regular studio routine, learn new choreography and techniques, and train alongside dancers from other studios.

WBAC Grand Prix Finals
November 14-15, 2026
An elite international ballet competition that stands as a beacon of cultural excellence. This prestigious event brings together young talents from across the globe, offering them a stage to showcase their artistry and potential. With opportunities to earn scholarships, medals, and other prizes, participants are not only competing for recognition but are also embarking on an enriching journey that will shape their future in ballet.

Amplify Dance Lab
November 15, 2026
The fall dance calendar continues with Amplify Dance Lab on November 15.
Designed for competitive dancers, pre-professional artists and studios focused on long-term development, Amplify brings together industry educators, adjudicators and working professionals for a full day of training. The Niagara Falls event is the final stop on Amplify’s 2026 fall schedule following conventions in the Toronto and Ottawa areas.
With limited capacity designed to maintain the quality of the training experience, the convention puts development, mentorship and dancer growth at the centre of the day.
