Niagara Falls has welcomed a familiar face back to the destination.
RM, leader of global K-pop phenomenon BTS, recently made the trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls while the group was in Canada for its 2026 world tour. BTS performed two sold-out Toronto concerts at Rogers Stadium on August 22 and 23 as part of the BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’.
This time, RM got even closer to the Falls, boarding Niagara City Cruises for its signature Voyage to the Falls experience. The Canadian boat tour travels past the American and Bridal Veil Falls before heading into the mist at the base of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

A BTS Return to Niagara Falls
RM’s visit may feel a little familiar to some, longtime fans of the group will remember BTS famously visiting Niagara Falls in September 2018 while the group was in Ontario for concerts. Their Niagara adventure was later featured in an Episode of their Run BTS! series, released in 2019 as part of the “BTS in Toronto” segments.
The visit also gave fans one of the group’s memorable Canadian moments when BTS member V enthusiastically exclaimed “Niagara Pokpo!” while taking in the Falls. “Pokpo” (폭포) means waterfall in Korean, and the moment quickly became part of BTS fan lore, often affectionately remembered by ARMY as “Niagara Popo.”
Eight years later, RM has brought BTS fans back to Niagara Falls — this time taking viewers right into the mist.
