Coast to Coast “Canada’s Family Women” Literary Series

The Niagara Parks Coast to Coast speaker series features the stories of four incredible Canadian women. All sessions are at 7:00pm inside the Queenston Chapel, in Queenston. Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served (Niagara wines available for purchase by the glass) in the Welcome Centre at the Laura Secord Homestead prior to the event.

Sharon Frayne – The Sound of a Rainbow

Sharon Frayne is a retired principal, artist and author. She is the 2021 winner of the Best YA/Juvenile Manuscript in the Muskoka Novel Marathon. Amanda Peters – The Berry Pickers

Amanda Peters is the Globe & Mail and Toronto Star bestselling author of The Berry Pickers. A writer of Mi’kmaq and settler ancestry, her work has appeared in the Antigonish Review, Grain Magazine, the Alaska Quarterly Review, the Dalhousie Review and Filling Station Magazine. She is the winner of the 2021 Indigenous Voices Award for Unpublished Prose and a participant in the 2021 Writers’ Trust Rising Stars program.
