As travel resumes, Expedia has released a list of top destinations in Canada and Niagara Falls is at the top of the list.

According to Expedia, interest in city centres has increased, which is a shift over the past 18 months when destinations closer to outdoor sites saw the significant increases.

The arrival dates coincide with one of the most beautiful seasons to visit Niagara Falls as scenic parklands that surround the Falls transform into autumn colours.

While Expedia’s search list focused on arrivals before the end of November, Niagara Falls is a choice destination year-round. There is plenty of adventure to experience regardless of when you visit.  This includes the illumination display that bathes the Falls in a rainbow of colours every night starting at dusk which can be viewed from Fallsview Rooms & Suites. In addition, many of the city’s top attractions remain available year-round. Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is an ideal destination for weather-proof water fun and the new Niagara Park Power Station with its day or evening experiences just to name a couple of examples.  There are still many outdoor adventures that can be had during the seasonal transition as well.  A hike in the Niagara Glen, or cycling along the Niagara River Parkway are exciting options in the Fall, and if your travels bring you to Niagara later in the season, tours and tastings at Niagara’s award winning wineries can be enjoy at any point of the year, as can experiencing non-stop gaming action at the two Niagara Falls Casinos.
