View From Sheraton Fallsview Hotel. credit Joey Hadden
When Joey Hadden, an NYC-based reporter for Insider, posted an article detailing her visit to Niagara Falls and her 2-night stay at Sheraton Fallsview Hotel, we were excited to see the famous Falls through her eyes.
The title of the article wraps up her experience. ”I paid $1,000 to sleep in a hotel room facing Niagara Falls for 2 nights. It was totally worth it.”
In her article, Hadden describes choosing the hotel for her Summer getaway because of its reputation as the best hotel for views of the Canadian Horseshoe, American and Bridal Veil Falls.
She also details the benefits of her decision to upgrade to a Fallsview Room. Her joy in the Juliette balcony that let the sounds of the Falls into her room and unexpected views of the nightly illumination and Summer fireworks displays radiates through the piece.
It is clear that Niagara Falls and Sheraton Fallsview left a positive impression on the first-time visitor. Her story is a worthy read and has the ability to reawaken memories of our own first in-person encounters with the Falls.
A new spa experience is open in Niagara Falls – Burning Springs Spa & Thermal Pools. Pause your busy life and immerse yourself in Niagara’s only hydrotherapy journey.
Located at the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa, the spa is at the location of Niagara’s first attraction, a spectacular natural spring. Discovered in 1794, “The Burning Spring” was the must-see attraction of the time in Niagara Falls. Today’s incarnation of Burning Springs, is a serene homage to its predecessor. The Niagara Falls spa pays respect to the natural phenomenon by incorporating natural elements into experiences, services & treatments and décor. All these combine to create a peaceful atmosphere just steps from Niagara Falls, and create a new legacy for the icon of Niagara Falls history.
The full-service spa in Niagara Falls offers a wide range of treatments and services from massage and facials, body treatments, manicures/pedicures, couples packages, men’s treatments and more.
Signature elements of the new Spa are the Thermal Experiences which are available as an add-on to an appointment or as a day pass.
A key experience is the outdoor area with 3 Thermal Pools which provide a hydrotherapy journey through temperature delivery. The process of moving from hot (35-40 degrees celcius) towarm (25-30 degrees celcius) to cold (7-12 degrees celcius) soothes, restores and imparts therapeutic properties. These pools can aid in boosting circulation, alleviating stress, and accelerating detoxification in addition to the traditional relaxing benefits of bathing. Enhancing the outdoor experience at Burning Springs is the spa’s Finnish-inspired Sauna Cabin and a relaxation area where fresh air complements services and treatments. The outdoor area is a year-round experience thanks to a heated pool deck surround.
Adding to the well-being journey at the new Niagara Falls spa is the luxe thermal experience of a Himalayan Salt Sauna. With origins that date back to the medieval era, benefits are time-tested, and wide-ranging. The salt contains 84 elements and trace elements including negative ions that may reduce inflammation, improve respiratory conditions, provide increased energy and improve overall health and mood.
When planning a visit to Burning Springs Spa & Thermal Pools, be sure to reserve a Day Pass. Either as day use or to enhance an appointment, the pass includes access to the indoor/outdoor Oasis spa areas including the Thermal Pools, Himalayan Salt Sauna, Finnish-inspired Sauna Cabin, indoor Hot Tub, lounge areas, and outdoor fireside relaxation area. This pass is based on availability .
If a spa getaway fits into your self-care schedule, consider a Unique Spa Getaway at Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa or Marriott on the Falls. The getaways include one night hotel accommodations, an Oasis Day Pass for Two guests at Burning Springs, and a Fallsview Buffet Breakfast for Two.
