Hernder Estate Winery
Hernder Estate Winery is located in the beautiful Niagara Escarpment in the award winning wine district. The Winery Facility is a 1867 Victorian Barn that was restored to create a unique and picturesque wine setting. The winery produces some of the best VQA wines in the region, as well as fantastic fruit wines and Icewines. Grapes grown at the winery include Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Vidal, Muscat, Merlot and Pinot Noir. The well-known aromatic white wines are the Riesling and Gewurztraminer varietals. The winery, which was established in 1991, has quickly developed over 45 varieties of award winning VQA and fruit wines.

The complimentary tours of the winery are available weekends at 1:30pm and again at 3:30pm. The tasting room at the winery is open during hours of operation. For groups of 6 or more and bus tours, private tours are available. Please contact the winery directly for more information.
