Overview
Niagara Takes Flight simulates the experience of free-flight, with visitors sitting suspended in gondola-style seating surrounded by a massive domed screen. Cinematic video of breathtaking landscapes paired with sensory effects like motion, mist and wind surround guests to simulate soaring through the sky just like a bird for a new perspective on the power of Niagara Falls.
Before flying, guests explore distinct immersive storytelling rooms that bring centuries of Niagara’s rich history to life; from geological formation to industrialization and innovation. The multisensory pre-show takes guests of a journey from the formation of the Falls and its erosion 12,000 years ago, to the Haudenosaunee creation story room where visitors are invited to gather around the fire and learn about Indigenous history.
