Located at the bottom of the Niagara Gorge, the Niagara Glen Nature Reserve offers visitors a hiking experience through one of the best-preserved remaining Carolinian forests in Southern Ontario. Journey through the glen and experience the power of the Niagara River and Niagara River Whirlpool.

Overview

Niagara Glen offers over 4km of marked rugged trails which can be used for hiking, nature watching, picnicking and boulder climbing; (permits are required for climbing, which are free).

Trails in the Glen feature elevation changes of 60m (200 feet), so proper footwear for rugged and steep terrain is required.

Guided tours of the Glen are available during Spring and Summer months, trails can be accessed year-round weather permitting.
