Winter Festival of Lights Niagara Falls

For more than 35 years, the Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls, Ontario has captured the magic of the holiday season with more than 75 illuminated displays, and millions of lights.  The festival transforms Niagara Parks, Dufferin Islands, the Niagara Parkway and the surrounding tourist areas into a Winter Wonderland. The Festival has become a tradition for over 1.5 million visitors annually.

Overview

The Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights allows people to get into the spirit of the season by walking or driving the five-kilometer illuminated route, with displays lighting the night in Dufferin Islands, Queen Victoria Park, and the Niagara Parkway.

Pricing & Passes

There is no admission fee to view the illuminations, but donations are accepted by Festival Ambassadors at the exit of Dufferin Islands (suggested contribution ($5 – $10 per car; $1 per coach bus passenger), with proceeds used to enhance the lights and displays.
