Winter Festival of Lights Niagara Falls

For more than 30 years, the Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls, Ontario has captured the magic of the holiday season by illuminating millions of lights within the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland, Dufferin Islands, and surrounding tourist areas. The Festival has become a tradition for over 1.5 million visitors annually.

Overview

The Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights will run from November 15, 2014 to January 12, 2015 and allows people to get into the spirit of the season by walking or driving the five-kilometre illumination route. Guests can also enjoy the Winter Fireworks program, which will feature fireworks shows every Friday night at 9pm throughout the OPG Winter Festival of Lights season, plus additional shows during the holidays.

Pricing & Passes

There is no admission fee to view the illuminations, but donations are accepted by Festival Ambassadors at the exit of Dufferin Islands (suggested contribution ($5 – $10 per car; $1 per coach bus passenger), with proceeds used to enhance the lights and displays.
