Some walked. Some jogged. Some ran. Some rolled.
But in the end, they all needed a shower.
More than 5,000 people took part in the Niagara Falls Run or Dye Saturday, the first time the colourful five-kilometre run was hosted in the city and the third time this year a Run or Dye event was hosted in Canada.
Participants got pelted with tons of powdered dye to create a sea of colour along Dufferin Islands and the Niagara Parkway in what Run or Dye spokeswoman Kathryn Handford said is supposed to be a fun-filled, yet relaxed 5K run.
