Mike Fulton has been to Niagara Falls before, but he’s never had a chance to really explore the city and surrounding communities.
He’ll finally get to do so in September, when he visits the region to participate in the GranFondo Niagara Falls cycling event.
“I’ve been to Niagara Falls, but only briefly,” said Fulton, who’s coming from Seattle, Wash. “This will be a nice opportunity to spend time there and really take in the community.”
The 53-year-old is an avid cyclist who participates in a host of rides and events across North America each year. He’s participated in previous GranFondo events in Whistler and Banff, so it was natural to sign up for Niagara Falls as well.
“Going up to Canada to do these GranFondos is a great thing and I’ve had nothing but good experiences,” said Fulton. “To have a series like this is special and I think it creates a critical mass to attract U.S. riders.
