Niagara Wineries and Winery Tours

The Niagara Region is known around the world for producing award wining wines including the sought after ice wine. Niagara is one of the few regions in the world able to produce ice wine, a wine that is made from grapes that are left on the vine and then harvested in the winter once temperatures are -8 degrees Celsius or below, resulting in an increased sugar content. A drive on the Niagara Wine Route will reveal acres of vineyards and wineries, this guide will help you plan a day of tours and tastings.
