New Years Eve Niagara Falls

Celebrate Canada's Largest FREE New Year's Eve extravaganza. The atmosphere will be electric, as we welcome in 2014 in Queen Victoria Park directly across from Niagara Falls. This year's lineup for the free concert includes pop superstar Demi Lovato, and two of the biggest names in Canadian music: Sam Roberts Band and Serena Ryder. The show will be broadcast nationally by Global TV starting at 10:00pm and hosted by ET Canada's Rick Campanelli, Cheryl Hickey, and Sangita Patel. In addition to the free concert, the all ages event features two spectacular fireworks displays (9pm & Midnight).
At only 21 years old, Demi Lovato is one of the biggest names in entertainment. An accomplished singer/songwriter, she's topped the charts with hits including "Heart Attack", "Skyscraper", "Give Your Heart a Break" and her latest release "Neon Lights". In addition to thriving musical career, Demi is a judge on the "X-Factor", and is currently guest starring on Glee. She is a leading voice in the Anti Bullying movement and is a role model for young people around the World. She has more than 20 million followers on Twitter.
A talented singer/songwriter, this Peterborough native has had an exceptional year. Her latest release "Harmony" garnered her a JUNO Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year, and her infectious hit "Stompa" has gone 3 times platinum in Canada and was named the MuchMusic Rock/Alternative Video of the Year. Her single "What I Wouldn’t Do" is still on the Canadian Hot 100 and her latest single "Fall" is climbing on the charts.
Sam Roberts Band
One of the biggest bands in Canadian rock Sam Roberts Band shot to fame after the release of their 2002 EP "The Inhuman Condition". The release remains one of the best selling independent releases in Canadian history due to the success of "Don’t Walk Away Eileen", “Brother Down”, and "Where Have All The Good People Gone". Six-time JUNO Award winners, their fourth album "Collider" was released in late 2011 and produced the hit "I Feel You". The band has confirmed that they are working on their next album which will be released in 2014.

Winter Festival of Lights

Canada’s foremost illumination festival is an annual tradition in Niagara Falls and draws visitors from around the globe. A five km stretch of the scenic parkway is wrapped in more than 3 million sparkling tree lights, while 120 spectacular displays depict popular characters and glimpses of Canadiana (including Niagara’s rich association with wine making). New this year, the festival welcomes ornate, hand-painted lantern displays and a 70-metre Tunnel of Wish Lanterns created by the award-winning Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival of South Korea.

Fireworks Over the Falls
November 1 - January 31, 2014 | Queen Victoria Park
An amazing firework display will showcase the grand opening of WFOL on November 9th 2013, repeating on November 15th, 22nd and 29th, December 6th, 13th and 20th, and January 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st. The extraordinary 10-minute show will also be on every night of the Christmas Holiday (Dec.21st-28th), excluding Christmas Day and Eve.
All performances take place at 9:00PM unless otherwise noted. Fireworks schedule is subject to change. As always, fireworks performances are weather permitting and may be cancelled due to poor weather conditions like high winds or rain.
